Oct. 30
Keith Solverson, Wartburg College, Fort Dodge, Iowa/St. Edmonds
Solverson, a senior, set the Iowa Conference 8,000-meter record with a 24:59 finish, knocking three seconds off the old mark set last year by Wartburg’s Josh Moen. He won the meet by 34-seconds and was named Conference Most Valuable Runner.

Oct. 16
Ben Grant, Loras, Peosta, Iowa/Western Dubuque
Grant, a sophomore, was the top collegiate finisher and finished third overall at Loras College’s Dr. Robert Tucker Invitational. He finished the 67-runner race in 26:21, 11-seconds ahead of the next collegiate runner.
Oct. 9
Ben Grant, Loras, Peosta, Iowa/Western Dubuque
Grant, a sophomore, set the course record at the Lamb-Kohawk Invitational hosted by Coe College, finishing the 8,000-meter race in 26:17. He finished 28-seconds ahead of the second-place finisher on the same course the Iowa Conference Championship will be run.
Oct. 2

Adam Bohach, Luther, Spillville, Iowa/South Winneshiek
Bohach, a senior, won the 230-runner Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugold Open. His time of 25:28.4 was 11.1 seconds ahead of the next closest competitor in the 8,000-meter race. (IIAC Male Athlete of the Week)

Sept. 25
Keith Solverson, Wartburg, Fort Dodge, Iowa/St. Edmond
Solverson, a senior, placed fourth (of 411 runners) at the University of Minnesota’s Roy Griak Invitational Maroon Race (Division II and III). He finished the 8,000-meter race in 25:31.79, his top 8K time of the year and just 19.25 seconds behind the winner. The Knights’ finished fourth in the 43-team race.
Sept. 18

Ben Grant, Loras, Peosta, Iowa/Western Dubuque
Grant, a sophomore, finished 43rd overall (of 265 runners) and 14th (of 162) among non-Division I runners at the National Catholic Invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame. He ran the 8,000-meter course in 26:37 to lead Loras to a third-place finish in the college division, the highest finish among Division III schools.

Sept. 11
Keith Solverson, Wartburg, Fort Dodge, Iowa/St. Edmond
Solverson, a senior, won 148-runner St. John’s (Minn.) Invitational in a time of 26:47, besting the second-place finisher by three seconds to lead the Knights to a third-place finish in the eight team meet. The victory was Solverson’s second in as many races this year.
Sept. 4
Adam Wolf, Central, Corning, Iowa/Corning
Wolf, a junior, won the 29-runner Central Dutch Invitational in a time of 26:22, winning by 58-seconds to lead the host Dutch to a victory in the three-team meet.
