Ben Grant, Loras College, Peosta, Iowa/Western Dubuque
Grant, a junior, won the Iowa Conference cross country Championship and was named Most Valuable Runner. He finished in a time of 24:18, five seconds ahead of runner-up Brian Chenoweth of Wartburg, to earn his third straight top-four Conference finish (third in 2005 and fourth in 2004). Oct. 15
Andy Hodge, Wartburg College, Marion, Iowa/Marion
Hodge, a junior, posted an 8,000-meter time of 25:25 at the Jim Drews Invitational hosted by Wisconsin-LaCrosse to finish 32nd in the 451 runner meet that included participants from all three NCAA divisions.
Oct. 8
Ben Grant, Loras College, Peosta, Iowa/Western Dubuque
Grant, a junior, won the NCAA Pre-Regional Meet hosted by St. Olaf College finishing the 8,000-meter course in 26:13, besting the 109-runner field by one second.

Eric Osterhaus, Simpson College, Waterville, Iowa/Waukon
Osterhaus, a sophomore, finished second of 37 runners at the Simpson Buxton Open. He finished the 8,000-meter race in 27:45 and led the Storm to the meet’s team title.
Sept. 24
Ben Grant, Loras College, Peosta, Iowa/Western Dubuque
Grant, a junior, finished second at the 450-runner Brissman-Lundeen Invitational hosted by Augustana (Ill.) College. He ran a personal-best time of 25:23 in the 8,000-meter race, bettering his previous career-best set last week by 40-seconds.
Sept. 17
Ben Grant, Loras College, Peosta, Iowa/Western Dubuque
Grant, a junior, finished third in the college division of the National Catholic Invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame, leading Loras to the team title. He finished the 8,000-meter race in 26:01, 18th overall in the 237 runner field.

Sept. 10
Adam Wolf, Central College, Corning, Iowa/Corning
Wolf, a senior, finished second in the 112-runner Les Duke Invitational hosted by Grinnell College. He finished the 8,000-meter race in 26:05, 16 seconds behind winner Drake Ballew of Grinnell. It was Wolf’s second runner-up finish in as many races this year. The Dutch finished fourth of 10 teams with 87 points.
Sept. 3
Ben Grant, Loras College, Peosta, Iowa/Western Dubuque
Grant, a junior, finished second at the 205-runner Elmhurst Earlybird Invitational. He finished the 5,000-meter race in 15:51.52, less than a second behind the winner, Brandon Mull of Wheaton (Ill.) College (15:50.79). The Duhawks finished fourth in the 18-team field with 110 points.
