May 1 | Pete Weber, Loras, Sr. | Shot a 146 in the final two rounds of the Iowa Conference
Championship to become the first Loras golfer to win Conference Medalist
honors since 1998 and led the Duhawks to their first Conference title
since 1954. Shot 73 both days, the lowest scores of both rounds, giving
him the low score in each of the final three rounds of the four round
Championship. Finished with an IIAC 72-hole Championship record two-under-par
286. |
April 24 | Pete Weber, Loras, Sr. | Shot a four-under-par 140 in the first 36-holes of
the Iowa Conference Championship to hold a three stroke lead in the individual
race heading into the final weekend of the Championship. With rounds of
71 and 69, is the only golfer with two sub-par rounds. |
April 17 | Mike Eisele, Luther, Sr. | Finished second at the Buena Vista University Invitational
with a two-under-par 142 (71-71). Only golfer in the 97 golfer field to
shoot two sub-par rounds. |
April 10 | Pete Weber, Loras, Sr. | Won his second straight tournament as he shot a 36-hole
score of 140 at the Wartburg Invitational. Was in 12th place after shooting
a 72 on the first day then shot the Tournament’s low round with a 68 on
the second day to win by one stroke. Finishing four-under-par also marks
second sub-par Tournament this year. |
April 3 | Pete Weber, Loras, Sr. | Finished in the top-2 of two tournaments
during the week. Won the Loras Invitational on Saturday and Sunday by
two strokes with a 36-hole scored of 139 (69-70). Tied for second at the
Central Dutch Classic on Monday and Tuesday with a 36-hole score of 150
(77-73), finishing five strokes behind the medalist. |
March 20 | Josh Ketter, Coe, Sr. | Finished second at the Millikin Spring Opener with
a 36-hole score of one-over-par 145 (77-68), losing in a playoff. Second
round 68 matched own school record for the lowest round. |
