Andy Petersen, Central College, Davenport, Iowa/West
Petersen, a sophomore, a sophomore, became the 11th Central golfer to earn Conference Individual Medalist honors and the first since 2002. He shot a 3-over-par 147 (70-77) over the final 36-holes of the Conference Championship, including his second round of 70, giving him two of the three sub-par rounds in the Tournament. Petersen led the Championship wire-to-wire and finished the 72-hole Tournament with a 2-over-par 290 and defeated teammate Isaac Rodenberg by nine strokes, leading the Dutch to their 27th IIAC men’s golf title with a record 49-stroke victory.

Andy Petersen, Central College, Davenport, Iowa/West
Petersen, a sophomore, holds a five stroke lead through 36-holes of the 72-hole Iowa Conference Championship with a 1-under-par 143. He has recorded the top score in each of the first two rounds including a second-round 70, one of two sub-par rounds during the first half of the Tournament.

Jeff Millet, Central College, Newton, Iowa/Newton
Millet, a senior, finished tied for second at the 128-golfer Buena Vista University Invitational with a 2-under-par 142, three strokes behind the Medalist. Millet’s first round 69 was tied for the Tournament’s low round and led Central to a second-place finish in the 24-team field behind #11-ranked Nebraska Wesleyan.

Andy Petersen, Central College, Davenport, Iowa/West
Petersen, a sophomore, won the 110-golfer Duhawk Spring Invitational hosted by Loras College with a 4-under-par 68 and led the Dutch to the team title. Petersen’s 68 is the Conference’s low round to date and was three strokes better than a pair of golfers that finished 1-under-par 71.

Zach Massey, Central College, Grand Junction, Colo./Central
Massey, a senior, won the 46-player Simpson Invitational with a 2-over-par 74.
Mar. 25
Reid Turner, Central College, Des Moines, Iowa/Grandview Park Baptist
Turner, a junior, finished third at the Central Dutch Classic with a 5-over par 147 (71-76). His first round par 71 was one of only three par or better rounds in the entire tournament. Turner was the top Division III finisher, finishing behind a pair of golfers from St. Ambrose, the fourth-ranked school in the NAIA.

Brett Meyer, Central College, Mendota, Ill./Mendota Township
Meyer, a senior, shot a 1-over-par 73 at the Dutch Desert Shootout in Laveen, Ariz. and won the tie-breaker for Medalist honors in a field that included Division II schools Grand Canyon State (ranked #21 nationally) and Wisconsin-Parkside.
