Nov. 6
Kevin Burberry, Loras College, Orland Park, Ill./Marist
Burberry, a junior midfielder, scored a goal in each of Loras’ three Iowa Conference Tournament games. His goal in the Championship match against top-seeded Wartburg proved to be the game winner as third-seeded Loras upset the Knights, 4-2, and earned their first trip to the NCAA Tournament in school history. Burberry scored the game-tying goal in the semifinals against #2 Central, 1:07 after the Dutch broke a scoreless tie in the final 10–minutes of the opening half. Loras defeated Central, 2-1 and Buena Vista, 5-2 (in the quarterfinals).
Oct. 30
Cody Stoermer, Central College, Coralville, Iowa/Iowa City West
Stoermer, a sophomore midfielder, scored four goals during the week including the once in Central’s 3-2 win over Wartburg which was the school’s first-ever win over a nationally ranked opponent. The Knights are ranked 17th in the latest Coaches’ Poll. Stoermer also scored three goals, including the game winner, in a 4-2 victory over Colorado College.
Oct. 23

Harrison Kibombo-Lugujjo, Wartburg, Kampala, Uganda
Kibombo-Lugujjo, a junior forward, scored two goals and added two assists for six points in two matches during the week as Wartburg extended its win streak to 15 straight. He had a hand in all three goals in the Knights’ 3-1 victory over Luther, scoring once and assisting on the other two. Kibombo-Lugujjo also scored the game winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Loras, a win that gives first-place Wartburg the upper hand in the Conference standings.

Dustin Bonnett, Buena Vista, Pierre, S.D./T.F. Riggs
Bonnett, a junior forward, scored five goals and added one assist for 11 points in three games during the week. He scored twice, including the game winner, in a 5-0 victory over Coe. He scored all three Buena Vista goals in a 3-3 tie with Dubuque and finished the week with an assist in a 3-2 double-overtime loss to St. John’s (Minn.).
Oct. 9
Wil Nartey, Luther, Ghana
Nartey, a senior forward, scored five goals in two matches including the game winner in both contests. He scored four times in Luther’s 8-0 victory over Coe and scored the lone goal in a 1-0 victory over Buena Vista as the Norse remained undefeated in Conference play.

Oct. 2
Harrison Kibombo-Lugujjo, Wartburg, Uganda
Kibombo-Lugujjo, a junior forward, scored seven goals in three games during the week including two game winners. He had one goal in the Knights’ 7-0 victory over Wisconsin-Platteville, tied a school record with four goals (including the game winner) in a 6-0 win over Colorado College, Kibombo-Lugujjo finished his week with two goals (including the game winner) in a 4-0 win over Clarke.
Sept. 25
Nii Yemofio, Cornell, Tema, Ghana/Presec
Yemofio, a junior defenseman, scored both Cornell goals in a 2-1 victory over Central and anchored the Rams’ defense in a 0-0 tie with Wisconsin-Platteville. Cornell went 1-0-1 against teams that entered the contests with a combined 13-2-1 record.
Sept. 18
Harrison Kibombo-Lugujjo, Wartburg, Uganda
Kibombo-Lugujjo, a junior forward, scored four goals and added two assists for 10 points in three games. He began the week with an assist in Wartburg’s 3-0 win over Iowa Wesleyan then finished the week with back-to-back two goal performances, in an 8-1 victory over Benedictine in which he scored the game winning goal and added an assist, and in a 3-1 win over St. Olaf.
Sept. 11
William Alt, Coe, Madison, Wis./West
Alt, a freshman forward, scored three goals and added an assist for seven points in two games during the week. He scored two goals, including the game winner, and assisted on another in Coe’s 7-0 victory over Faith Baptist. Alt also netted a goal in the Kohawks’ 3-1 victory over Clarke.
Sept. 4
Kirk Artist, Wartburg, Glenwood, Iowa/Glenwood
Artist, a senior midfielder, scored three goals in three games during the week. He netted both scores in the Knights’ 2-1 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan and scored their only goal in a 2-1 loss to Macalester. He was held scoreless in Wartburg’s victory over Gustavus Adolphus.
