Bonilla, Loras College, Cali, Colombia/Colegio Bolivar Bonilla, a freshman midfielder, scored one goal in each of Loras’ games at the Iowa Conference Men’s Soccer Tournament, including the lone goal in the Duhawks’ 1-0 victory over Wartburg in the championship match. Bonilla’s goal allowed the Duhawks to improve to 20-0-1 and secure a bid to the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship for the third year in a row. Bonilla also recorded a goal in Loras’ 5-0 semifinal win over Luther. |

Michael, Wartburg College, Urbandale, Iowa/Urbandale Michael, a sophomore goalkeeper, ended the week with four wins and a 0.00 goals-against average in over 327 minutes in net for the Knights. He posted complete-game shutouts over UW-Platteville (3-0) and regional power Elmhurst (3-0) and shared shutout wins over IIAC foes Dubuque (3-0) and Simpson (5-0), dropping his season goals-against average to 0.54. Michael has been part Wartburg’s current string of 11 straight wins and seven straight shutouts. |

Pucci, Loras College, Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville Pucci, a senior forward, notched five goals including both game-winners as Loras topped Buena Vista (6-0) and Cornell (8-0). Against the Beavers, Pucci scored three goals on nine shots, including one on a penalty kick. He also posted a pair of goals on three shots against Cornell. |

Santiago Mejia, Loras College, Cali, Colombia/Colegio Bolivar Mejia, a sophomore midfielder, scored two goals and two assists in three games last week. His goals in games at Monmouth and at home against UW-Platteville gave the Duhawks early leads. Mejia also posted an assist in a 3-1 league win over Central. |

Nate DuBois, Loras College, Lane, Ill./Lemont DuBois, a freshman goalkeeper, recorded shutout wins over Augustana (1-0) and Wartburg (2-0) last week. DuBois recorded four saves against Augustana and another three in Saturday’s IIAC opener against the Knights. DuBois’ biggest save came in the second half with Loras leading 1-0. |

Foote, Central College, Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove Foote, a junior goalkeeper, allowed only one goal and posted two shutouts as the Dutch went 3-0 on the week. Foote made two saves in a 1-0 shutout of Grinnell on Sept. 11, allowed one goal and made one save in a 2-1 win over Millikin, and did not face a shot on goal in a 2-0 road win at Monmouth Sept. 15. |

Jones, University of Dubuque, Little Rock, Ark./Central Jones, a senior goalkeeper, has helped the Spartans to an IIAC-best 5-0 overall record. He has not given up a goal in 450 minutes of action this season. In road wins over Concordia University Chicago, Monmouth College, and Illinois College, Jones posted a 3-0 record with three shutouts and nine saves. The Spartans outscored their opponents 11-0 during the week and have outscored opponents 18-0 so far this season. |

Michael, Wartburg College, Urbandale, Iowa/Urbandale Michael, a sophomore goalkeeper, led No. 17 Wartburg to a 3-0 record in the opening weekend of the season. In Wartburg’s 4-2 victory over St. Olaf Aug. 31, he recorded four saves and posted an assist offensively. He posted his first career shutout Sept. 1 in the Knight’s 1-0 win over Johnson & Wales (R.I.) at the Wisconsin Lutheran Warrior Cup. Michael capped off the weekend by keeping regional power UW-Whitewater to one goal in 90 minutes and 33 seconds in a 2-1 overtime victory Sept. 2. |
