| November 7 | Katie Pettigrew, Luther, Sr., F | Became the NCAA all-time leader in career goals
scored with her three goals in the Iowa Conference Tournament to finish
her career with 124 goals. Scored the game-winning goal in the Norse’s
2-0 semifinal victory over Simpson and scored both of her team’s goals
in a 3-2 loss to Loras in the Championship match. |
| October 31 | Katie Pettigrew, Luther, Sr., F | Became the NCAA Division III all-time leader
in career points and tied the national career goals scored record with
a four goal-nine point week. Scored on a penalty kick in a 2-1 victory
over Loras, moving the Norse into first-place in the Conference. In
a 5-0 Conference-clinching victory over Buena Vista, scored three goals
and added an assist moving her career totals to 121 goals and 291 points. |
| October 24 | Katie Pettigrew, Luther, Sr., F | Had a hand in all eight of the Norse’s goals in
two matches during the week, scoring four and assisting on four. In
a 3-2 victory over Dubuque, scored two goals and had an assist. In a
5-0 victory over Coe scored twice including the game-winner and added
three assists. Both goals in the Coe match came on penalty kicks. |
| October 17 | Michelle Wieser, Loras, Sr., F | Scored five points in three games during the week
including two goals and one assist. Scored the game-tying goal in Loras’
1-1 tie with Division I Western Illinois. Also netted a goal in a 7-1
victory over Buena Vista and assisted on Loras’ lone goal in a 1-0 victory
over Cornell. The Duhawks have extended their regular season unbeaten
streak to 32 straight. |
| October 10 | Tiffany Treanor, Wartburg, Sr., F | Scored four goals in a 6-4 victory over Simpson,
the Knights’ first ever win over the Storm. With her performance, set
the school’s single season record for goals and points (17 goals, 36
points). |
| October 3 | Victoria Rittman, Central, Fr., F | Scored six goals in two games including the game-winner
in both contests. Scored four goals in a 6-0 victory over Crown, the
second-highest single game total in school history. Also netted both
goals in Central’s 2-0 victory over Coe and has now scored 12 goals
this season, setting the school’s freshman scoring record. |
| September 26 | Katie Pettigrew, Luther, Sr., F | Scored four goals in two games during the week.
She scored all three of the Norse’s goals in a Conference-opening victory
over Simpson (3-0). Pettigrew also notched a goal in Luther’s 4-0 victory
over Carleton. |
| September 19 | Lesley Oyen, Dubuque, So., F | Scored 16 points (6g-4a) in four games during the
week. Scored all four of the Spartans’ goals in a 4-1 victory over Illinois
College, and scored twice and added an assist in an 8-1 victory over
Clarke. In Dubuque’s only loss of the week, 5-2 to Carthage, assisted
on both goals. Also added an assist in the team’s 3-1 victory over North
Park. |
| September 12 | Michelle Wieser, Loras, Sr., F | Scored five goals, including two game-tying
and game-winning goals, in three matches during the week. Began and
ended the week with single goals in victories over St. Ambrose (6-0)
and Concordia-Moorhead (2-1). Notched the game-winner and added an assist
against St. Ambrose. Goal against Concordia tied the game and led to
the Duhawks second straight comeback win. In Loras’ 4-3 victory over
Gustavus Adolphus, had three goals including the game-tying and game-winning
goal. |
| September 5 | Amanda Paulson, Cornell, Fr., F | Scored all four of the Rams goals in two games,
a 2-1 victory over William Penn and a 3-2 loss to St. Thomas (Minn.). |
